What your users see

Your users see the storefront’s own words, which depend on your theme and on what you write: a theme may call listings “products” or “ads”, and sellers “hosts” or “makers”. The words of this glossary are those of the admin panel.

Edge cases and limits

  • “Transactions”: the menu item lists orders. “Transaction type” is something else: the model of an order type.
  • “Dashboard”: in the admin panel, the button that leads back to Home after the guided setup says “Go to my dashboard”. In this help center, “dashboard” is not used for the admin panel.
  • “Vendor”, “supplier”: the admin panel also says “vendors” (in the guided setup and on Home) and sometimes “suppliers” for sellers. All three mean the same users; this help center says “sellers”.
