The guided setup is a conversation: an assistant named Kiko asks one question at a time, and a preview of your storefront, on the side, changes with each answer. Nothing is written into your marketplace until the last question.
Start the guided setup
The first time you open your admin panel during your free trial, the guided setup takes the whole screen, without the menu. It comes back each time you open Home until it is finished.
Answer each question by clicking one of the choices, or by typing for the name. Edit, next to an answer already given, takes you back to that question.

At the end, the setup offers a call with a Kreezalid expert: leave a phone number, or click Not now, let’s continue.
What the setup creates
When you answer the last question, the setup builds the marketplace in one go and lists each step as it runs. It creates:
- a commission rule named “Vendor commission”, when the commission is above 0;
- a Buyers group and a Vendors group, or Individual vendors and Professional vendors when you answered Both;
- one order type: “Direct purchase” (Products, with cart, shipping and stock), “Time slot booking” or “Rental by date” (Services, on a calendar), or “Quote request” (Contact only: buyers write to the seller);
- four categories suited to what your marketplace offers, shown in the storefront’s menu and search;
- two demo vendors and three sample listings, published, so that the storefront is not empty;
- the theme you chose.
Then Go to my dashboard opens Home, and View my site opens your storefront.
What the setup does not do
- Payments: whatever your answer, no payment provider is connected. Until one is, orders are settled offline.
- Your logo and colours: they are set in Theme.
- Your domain: the marketplace keeps its
mykreezalid.comaddress until you connect your own. - Your listings and your users: the samples only show how the storefront will look.
Home lists these steps, in the Marketplace readiness card: see Get your marketplace ready to launch.
Change an answer
On Home, the Your setup card shows your answers: theme, checkout, vendors, market, commission and payments.
- Click Edit next to the answer.
- Choose the new answer. The change is applied at once and you return to Home.
A changed answer updates what the setup created rather than adding to it: the order type changes model, the commission rule its rate, and the currency follows the market. A commission set back to 0, or Decide later, removes the rule. A vendor group that is no longer needed is kept, since vendors may already belong to it.
Remove the sample data
On Home, in the Sample data card, click Remove sample data. The sample listings and the demo vendors are deleted; the categories, groups, order type and commission stay, since they are your marketplace’s own from then on.
What your users see
Your storefront is online as soon as the setup has finished: visitors see the theme, the four categories in the menu and the sample listings on the home page, as if real vendors had published them. Listings offer what your order type allows: add to the cart, book, or contact the seller. Remove the sample data before sharing the address of your marketplace.
Edge cases and limits
- A marketplace not on a free trial sees another screen, “Let’s set up your marketplace”, with two choices: Start with sample data, which fills the marketplace with example listings, categories and demo accounts, or Start with an empty marketplace, which creates nothing.
- Groups that existed before the setup are kept as they are: the setup creates none.
- The commission rule applies to every order. To vary it by category or by seller, edit it in Settings › Fees: see Set up your commission fees.
- The name cannot be changed from the Your setup card: change it in Settings › General.
