The footer is the same on every page of your storefront. It has two levels: at the top, the block of columns, the editorial area; at the bottom, a narrower bar with the copyright. An indicative layout:

Each area has its own setting, and only one:

The areas of the footer, top to bottom
  1. 1Columns — up to four text blocks: a title, some text, linksTheme › General
  2. 2Short links — legal notice, terms, contact…Navigation
  3. 3Social networks — one icon per account filled inTheme › General
  4. 4Copyright — marketplace name and current yearSettings › General
  5. 5Powered by KreezalidTheme › General

The exact layout (order of the areas, logo, alignment) depends on your theme.

The columns

This is the editorial area, at the top of the footer.

  1. In the menu, under Content, click Theme, then, under Theme Settings, General.
  2. In the Footer card, choose a value in How many columns do you want to display in the footer? (0 to 4).
  3. A text editor appears for each column. Write a title, some text and links in it, as in a page.
  4. Click Save.

At 0, no column you set is shown.

These are the links of the footer menu. It is called Footer menu or Menu pied de page, depending on the language your marketplace was created in.

  1. In the menu, under Content, click Navigation.
  2. Open the footer menu, then add, rename, reorder or delete its links. The details are in Manage navigation menus.

Depending on the theme, these links show on a line of their own or on the bottom bar, next to the copyright. A menu with no link shows nothing.

Social networks

  1. Open Theme › General.
  2. In the Social Medias card, fill in your accounts (Facebook, X (Twitter), Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
  3. Leave the Display social media links in footer toggle on, then click Save Changes.

One icon appears per account filled in. Switching the toggle off removes them from the footer without deleting your accounts.

The theme writes it itself: “All rights reserved”, the © symbol, your marketplace’s name and the current year, updated automatically. It cannot be edited as such. The name follows the Site name, set in Settings › General.

The “Powered by Kreezalid” mention

  1. Open Theme › General.
  2. In the Footer card, switch on Hide Kreezalid link (not applicable in free trial period), then click Save.

The toggle is greyed out during the free trial: the mention stays until your subscription starts.

What your users see

The footer shows at the bottom of every page of the storefront, for every visitor. Its look depends on the theme: order of the areas, logo, number of columns per row on mobile.

Edge cases and limits

  • Default columns: some themes show their own columns while the number of columns is 0. As soon as you set some, yours replace them.
  • Theme options: some themes add footer settings of their own (a short text next to the copyright, a link) in Theme options, on the Themes screen.
  • Social networks: a few themes do not show them in the footer.
  • Newsletter: when the Brevo Newsletter app is on, a sign-up form shows above the footer, or inside it with some themes.
